The Rhea eggshell, from which this purse was made, is heavily gold-plated. We have produced very few of these gold-plated purses. It has been enameled in glossy black and translucent enamel, which is tinged with a tiny amount of gold mica. The effect is a muted gold and textural finish like one would find in a Venetian painting. Eight golden fleurs de lis punctuate the offset scallop pattern.
